GK are no slouch. I'd hit it,....twice maybe even.

Fo real,....GKs are some of the best sounding SS amps out there. I enjoyed my MB2-500 when I had it,...but it didn't have the grunt I needed for gain gain and more gain.

They are, right now it sounds good enough to keep the tube lust at bay, but no telling how long that will last. The used market for amps here is crap, unless you're looking for a Hartke 3500 stack. So a SVT or Thunderverb would have to be bought new, which is a lot of €€€. Too much for me at this point, I'd rather put that towards more pedals and an extra cab down the road.
