PA speakers

hey all,

I'm living in a house next year with a sizable basement that we're looking to set up as a practice space and performance space. I've got a 22 channel mixer feeding into a QSC GNX5 power amp for a PA, but my crappy Peavey speakers died last year and we're looking to get new ones for the house. I've been looking into the JBL JRX125s and have seen some killer deals on ebay ($739 for a new pair ) but before we go spending the money I wonder if any of you:

a. have experience with these speakers
b. think they're overkill (we do like it LOUD )
c. have any other recommendations for speakers?

I honestly have no idea. always left the pa stuff up to sound guys or the singer.

i just use the cheapest Yamahas on musicians friend. they sound fine and they work. i don't really go for quality PA. i go for loud and inputs.
