Finally gonna migrate my covers band board over to a Pedaltrain, the homemade one is just too beefy for how much we're gigging out. Figured I finally need a proper power supply.

What kind of cover band you in homie?

Standard metal/hard rock covers, Tool, AIC, Rage, SOAD, shit like that. I like some of it, don't dig some of it, but it's a chance to hang out with friends and make a few bucks playing out :idk:

Sounds cool to me! I've been trying to get a cover band started for awhile but everyone I know wants to play country or Nickel Back. :picard:

yah. i just picked up some connectors and cable too. i'm lucky that there's a place in Berkeley that stocks the pancake heads cheap and a place that sells Canare's and Mogami (and more expensive stuff that i do not buy) cable so i can just drive around and pickup loot.

I played a regular studio version at a store (while shopping for reverb pedals  ) and I liked that enough that when I checked online I found the CS for less moniez. It was/is a bit of a risk buying a set-neck online (overseas/etc doesn't matter... same difference IMO and I'd be equally worried if I lived in another state in the US) but the seller has 100% feedback and I have PayPal and eBay on my side. I'm really interested to see how it'd take to my dirt pedals as the one I played was directly plugged into a CS Orange amp (  ). It'll be a nice #2. My Epiphone is still the love of my life even though it's the cheapest and most generic looking/feeling instrument I've owned. Sounds like a dream though!

Haha. I think it might end up being a gibson RD or a 339 (i've been gasing for a hollowbody for a while--i always regret selling my 335 back in 07, too). The other money will go to another amp of sorts. Maybe a plexi? Maybe another orange? ad140? Who knows. Super reverb? Maybe. I dunno.

Oh, i'll also be finding a used dano dc59 12-er. I've been DYING for a 12er lately.

have a DR103 yet? there ya go.
Maybe partying will help.

Haha, they're like my DREAM amplifiers. Maybe I should get one. Reeves or Hiwatt, though?

Just depends on what you can find. If you're buying new - Reeves. I will still have one some day, with a HiTone cab...ohhh yes.

and in GAS news, finalized everything for my second Bedroom Board yesterday and paid up.
you dudes are gonna clown - my new board is gonna be so ridiculous old blooze dude at TGP, it's just dumb.

Parts for a few pedlulz.
I'm really hoping that I can make these all work 100% on the first try because debugging pedals is so incredibly frustrating to me. I give up quickly if they don't work.
