Good shit. I've been wearing Cosby sweaters since '04.

Dude, you gotta source? I've been trying to break into the Cosby Sweater game.

Sheeeeeit I keep this shit close to my chest...yeah.

Just played an open mic with the shitty cover band and it wasn't terrible at all. It actually went ok. It was at a bar in the middle of nowhere and there were like 7 or 8 other people in the bar. So yeah.

Now I'm chillin at the house, smokin' res, still a wee bit boozy and watchin Delocated in a minute or two. All good stuff.

Thrift stores.

Or peruse ebay, since it's like the internet's thrift store. Searching Cosby, ugly, or vintage sweater will get you the goods. :thumb:

I was recording a demo and I mastered it so loud that Reaper auto mutes as soon as the song starts. Does that mean I'm doing it right?

Thanks for giving me the best business idea ever.

I am taking an incredibly cathartic shit after a horribly busy night at work. I still have to clean up a ton of shit and won't get out until at least 11 but its really good to know there won't be any more orders.

I keep being like, I should sell my pedals instead of trading them so that I actually have spare money and stuff, but then more pedals that I want keep making themselves available to me.

Also I was watching PBS because I have no cable and it's pretty much the only not awful channel, and there was this documentary on about whaling in the 1800's. As it turns out, that shit was crazy. Pretty much the only way to kill the whales was to stab them in the lungs until they choked to death on their own blood, at which point they would spew gore out their blowholes. Also I never read Moby-Dick, so I'm assuming this is actually fairly well-known, but apparently Herman Melville started out as a schoolteacher, decided "fuck it, I'm going to go kill whales," and then wrote books inspired by stuff he heard about/experienced on his journeys.

I thought it was cool, anyway.

i was watching that the other night when i couldn't sleep at like 2 in the morning. i used to be fascinated by the Yankee Whalers when i was a kid, because that was one of the great adventure tale fields of the early days of America and i was enthralled by the age of sailing ships in general--i used to be able to distinguish the different classes of ships by their masts and rigging--and knew the story of the Essex from back then (the Essex was rammed by a whale and sunk; most of the crew starved to death in the lifeboats on a months-long journey to rescue). just think of the mad things people did to try to live back then. aren't you glad it isn't 1820?

Yeah, I was almost halfway through your post and I was thinking to myself, "Has he never read Moby Dick?"

You should read it now and feel lucky that you escaped high school without having to read it. I just recently reread it, I hadn't read it since high school. I can appreciate it so much better now. Also read In the Heart of the Sea by Nathaniel Philbrick. It tells the story of a real life event which inspired the writing of Moby Dick.
