I am getting a ...bass...

as I have a tendancy to play with the bass of songs and really only use single notes and power cords (also it is my real first love). Any opinion on what to start with whats the best. I was thinking an Ampeg BA-115 and a schecter or squire. Any other suggestions?

If you're buying new go with the Acoustic 1x15 combo. Its an excellent amp for the $$$ ($250) and its loud as hell.
