i actually like this. i'm super sensitive to noises so i always anally protect my ears by.... shoving.... anuses in there. that analogy or description fell completely off the tracks. whatevah. but i like a man that sticks to his convictions.
Tinnitus - Nature's Drone Machine
i do seem to like drone music quite a bit, so there may be a connection there.

You ever get a different pitch going in each ear? Shit's magical.
got that shot going now. i only notice it in a quiet room.
Tinnitus is driving my old guitarist friend mad, says he can hardly tune his guitar anymore without help. Don't feel like I'd need any of that shit.
Just recently bought a new pair of ear plugs, lost them at some point and I never managed to remember to buy a new pair. I've been playing without any for some time without much noticing anythign but a slight ringing after rehearsals, after backing down the volume to the level of the drums. ...and confessing that makes me feel old. Perhaps I'll crank it back up now that I have ear plugs again.
BUT Donovan reminded me of something. I've noticed that the stage volume isn't always as bad as it is in the audience. Funny thing, isn't it. Have You guys noticed? Or perhaps people in the audience who are not used to that kind of volume levels just have more sensitive ears.
