I just received the pitch pirate i traded for in the mail today, and I dig it. It is a really early model (#3), and I opened it up to check out what was inside. I saw that wiring was really scrunched in and that in order to get the backplate back on, I had to apply pressure to squish it down in there. Should i be worried about the stress put on the board? This is how it came, so I know it has been like this for awhile, but I also get so nervous with my pedals. they are my children! Also, what is the internal trim pot for?
Thanks!

Don't worry! They all look like that!
. The foam is just a hair thicker then the space in there so the board doesn't move around.
I will be switching to board mounted pots in the near future though.
The trim is for volume.

Great thanks for the info. This is definitely a slick little pedal!
