Yeah... it's a little bit more difficult to buy gear/decide what to buy if you build effects by yourself.. I mean I would never buy a boost pedal. I use one that I built myself. But- I got a Russian BMP because it's a classic. You can't just do a clone of that.. THE AESTHETICS!! Just an example... but the boost is the only pedal (except for the power supply) that I built myself. Other than that- everything original.
