You know you've spent too much time on reddit when you try to downvote people on FB. FB really needs some sort of 'dislike' though.

Re: The Confessions Thread
IMO it's acceptable to slag someone's playing in "i can do better" terms...i've been saying "fuck, i can play drums better than Don Henley" for thirty-five years. what i try not to do is say "this is indisputably shit, and if you disagree you're an idiot." that's disrespectful of other people who aren't committing the music in question, and i've gotten in trouble with people i otherwise get along with swimmingly for doing that in the past. you didn't do that. and yes, there's a big difference between saying "i hate this" and saying "this is shit." one says "i think." the other says "it is."

You know that around here, that's fucking awesome. $1200 would probably cover my pedalboard and amps.
It made me happy that auto-spell recognizes "pedalboard."

Shit, I don't have a job! I've been selling and trading to sell as much just to cover my ass

Been selling multiple pedals to fund the TimeLine and Moogs, which is the entirety of the $1200
I've sold around as much in pedals to recoup costs. I've been thinking of making a chart since I joined in december just to see where all my pedals went

Re: The Confessions Thread
there's stuff i sold this last few months that i really miss. oddly, i really miss the two Marshall Guv'nor IIs...when i ran them in series and matched the gains JUST right they got this amazing compressed Bob Mould thing happening. they were also great in the effects loop of the (also departed
) Truly Beautiful Disaster...the four-band EQ allowed me to tune them to a feedback note and toggle that note in/out with the loop switch. but that was stuff i don't use in the music i play, so it were surplus.

Re: The Confessions Thread
Some people might think that I'm a nudist as of now.
True Story:
It's the first really nice day since winter today. All the snow is gone, fresh and nice 20°C outside... so I wake up, open my window and step outside on my balcony. The sun is shining on me and it's just beautiful.
At that moment a full train drives by. I was naked.

My parents were out of town this weekend, and I drove twice by myself, I don't have my license yet, still on my permit. I drove to a guitar lesson on sat. and I drove to a local record store and then to Ben and Jerry's for Ice cream, then home.
