Tried some a CP HH Jag today, compared with CP Jazzmaster... some thoughts on this:

WOW, a great guitar :) Surprisingly, i liked it more than the JM. The shorter scale makes some things surprisingly easier to play - and i'm used to long scale guitars, i play a tele! It just had great vibe, really fit me

i'm thinking about working hard in summer and trying to raise the money for it... i'm not sure about those humbuckers though, but i'll test it amplified some other time to make up my mind... i'd actually not mind having the power to make it soft AND very heavy though :) otherwise i loved everything about it - even the weird noise from strings behind the bridge... and especially the neck, C shape is my thing :) tried a Special Edition Jag too, the one with hardtail... not a fan of black guits, though, plus i'd like to experiment with the trem and the neck didn't fit my hand that well

the JM seemed cool, too, but less lively... might have been just a mediocre piece of a guit though...

Just ordered three seasons of the original Dragon Ball on DVD, Skyrim, and Uniracers for SNES. I will be entertained for life.

I first played it around the same age as well when my cousins gave me their SNES. Non-stop fun with a friend.

My friend said this to me earlier today. It made me happy.

Had a relatively boring St Paddy's day after Kate left.
Went to a friend's place to go to a party, ended up being a +1 to his sister's party, and he wasn't drinking. Weird at first, because I don't hang out with him much, but it got better. We met with another friend, ended up having very little to drink, because the chick throwing the party I ended up psuedo crashing, got mad drunk, her bf stepped on her, she ended up throwing up and asked me and a friend to leave because she didn't know us. No big, I understand completely, she's hammered, we're in her home, no big.
Someone ended up getting me 2 Olde English 40s at my request, which will sit in my fridge for forever, because I don't drink beer, and they're kinda shitty anyway.
Friend came down to my place, we hung out, while I sipped shit beer, I walked him back to his place, then went back home. I might be a little buzzed, because I'm talking a lot, which happens when I drink.

ILF is not a blog, so I'll shut up and just post this.

got a really wonderful tone in the Algal Bloom that's different from the one i've been using, with the Starve backed halfway down so it's nice and growly and both gain stages at about 1:30. this is similar to the tone i liked best when i first got the Bloom, and in combination with the Tokai Special->pitch modulation on the TC flanger->trem-> Ghost Echo,->Lo-Fi setting on the Flashback makes a loverly shoegazey roar which made me come up with most of a new song based on a Loop-esque metal-gaze riff i've been carting around for a few weeks. woo-hoo :!!!:

Some of my friends started a boring video war on facebook after someone called someone else's video boring. The latest submission was good minute of someone failing to build a house of cards. My favorite one was roughly 40 seconds of a guy reading a book

edit: one of the few vids that was posted to youtube as opposed to facebook

It's the first really nice day of spring today :joy:
All the snow is gone by now and the first flowers are coming out. It's about 20°C outside and really nice.
My bunnehs are enjoying it like crazy.. running around and eating fresh grass. Ahh.. such a fine sunday.
