I have the same dilemma except I already have a Faye Sing. I'm leaning towards just sticking with the simple one and buying an expression pedal so I can save all the moneys. Faye Sing sounds awesome so you won't have any regrets about how great it is.

Faye Sing + expression cover my phaser needs which I must admit are minimal. The Faye's Her will be pure awesomeness I'm sure but like you noted in the OP, it's gonna be large and costly. Think I'm good, we'll see....
