New EVERYTHING day!

Post by tommasters »

So you know when you save up forever and then its all gone and you have nothing to show for it.
Well yeah kinda that except I have four things! I think that I should go into overspender of the week fo this for sure all up it tops out at over 4000

However everything I got is like the best I have ever tried of that thing.
First my beautiful new guitar, by Paul Rhoney Guitars. it's a prototype I got made specially for me with nothing on the face above string height cause I play clumsy and always hit the knobs with my pick. Its hollow and has Wide Range Humbuckers and is so nice goddamn, kills anything I've ever tried for clean and can get ridiculously heavy with surprisingly no feedback.

My new Amp: Silverface Twin Reverb, everything's original, you can apparently hear it six blocks away according to the police. Good.

Tym Fuzz Munchkin: It's a great Muff but the coolest thing to me is the volume bypass footswitch. Really makes it so much more useful to me in a band situation, like two pedals in one. Sounds huge

Endangered Audio Delay. I was hesitant about the price but found one for cheap on ebay. This isn't what I'd call a delay it's like a weird lo fi filter with a delay tacked on. I never use long delays anyway so it's perfect. The momentary switch is ridiculous and actually musical. Pushing my El Cap into only long delay territory cause the mix of the nice dark delay and metallic weirdo echo is so awesomely unique, never heard any other pedal like it.

All gas will end now. Until I see something new

Same except I'm not really munchkin jelly. But DANG that guitar is amazing, nice to see it finished after seeing the in-progress pics. What controls does it have?

Fixed the pictures.
It just has two volume controls one for each pickup as Jaguar roller pots, that's it. I never use tone pots anyway

That guitar looks amaaaazing. Is that an all rosewood neck? What is the body made out of? And what brand of wide ranges are those?

That guitar is some serious stuff man. Very nice. Looks great with no fret markers too! I'd be a mess w/o them though!

i want to come over to YOUR house.

yeah, six blocks away sounds about right if you wind that baby all the way up. and of course you did :!!!:

so yeah, details. what speakers are in the Twin? and the questions above re: the woods on the guitar. is the body chambered, or actually semi-hollow? and does it string through the back, or through the bridge on top? it sure is a beautiful piece of work, and looks like it rips with the rest of that setup. wide-ranges + Twin = WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

The Speakers say theyre from like Utah Electronics? Apparently that means they're bad or something but I really like them, really bassy.
The body is semi hollow, it looked like this originally.
Image
The body is sapelle with a maple top and all rosewood neck. The binding is maple binding rather than plastic and its a string through body. Humbuckers are Lollar Regals.
Before this I'd never liked humbuckers, only singles but this is winning me over for sure.

After the police told me to stop playing tonight or they'd have to fine me I did. Weak effort but it was late anyway and I live in suburbia
