I really loved the Master EP and Fever to Tell.

Since then i feel like they've grown in a direction i don't care for....

i miss the dirty sexy artsy noisey YYY's.

not Show Yer Bones or Is Is YYY's. (i haven't bothered to listen to the new one, i was so down on those two :( )

I like everything I've heard. I bought their first album a few weeks ago and I love it. Great band.

Love that band. Fun live band. I saw them on my birthday last year...and saw them back in the first ep days.
The drummer (Brian Chase) is probably my favorite current drummer.
The new album (It's Blitz) is a stylistic departure. It's essentially a synth-pop album. I really dig it.....it's fun, and a great album for summer.

I'm convinced he's a jazz drummer or at least has had some kind of formal training, his techinique is too good and most every time I've seen him playing he's got a traditional grip going on O.o

There's an interview with him in the current Modern Drummer. He definitely plays jazz....he claims his biggest influence is Papa Jo Jones.

I love them. Whenever I do something stupid my gf starts singing "man"...its actually quite scary.

I need to to get show your bones...that song from the true blood commercials has become ingrained in my brain.

I like everything these guys have ever done. Kinda a shame that Blitz might be their last album.

They almost broke up while putting together Show Your Bones and It's Blitz!. Lots of creative differences in that band. They always seem to work through it though.
