TAFM sounds kinda like that, has the loose feel with low input, but not quite the same. I got some similar sounds out of my algal bloom earlier, especially stacked with other things (sparkle motion, arc flash, upper).

This fuzz have a lot of saturation... not sure about the fuzz face.

This gave me an idea... I tried my SS/BS Fuck Overdrive with gain fully cw and same with the threshold with that switch for more crakles.
Not as gnarly, but I'm gettin close to that sound.

I just tried playing that riff with the Fuzz Face I made and it sounds pretty much fuckin exactly the same

My first thought too. Push the fuzz face harder and it sounds like this (i only have single coil guitars - so humbucker may differ).
TAFM: from my experience no, it wouldn't make that sound. It is not that splattery, instable or however you call the fuzzy fragments in that tone in english
Did you try your fuck od into sth else? Probably with the fuck part full up it could get you near that sound.

After listening to some more demo on YouTube, I think you're right... it's probably a silicon fuzz face.

The fuck OD doesn't really sound like that. The blown-ness of the fuck is more centered just around the attack of the note.

Bro, I wish I could just send you my Fuzz Face to try out, cause you'd fucking love it if you love this sound, but I'm too broke for that right now haha. Mine has AC128s and is definately a very saturated thick sound just like this.
