I think there is a black one being traded on the sale pages for $325.

Saw it but thanks, which reminds me as to why no one likes the thing: the price

I know what you mean. How much do you think should it be then?

Muff Update:

The Bass Big Muff is the current King Of the Hill. It sounds nearly identical to the smallbox Black Russian Muff. I really like this pedal a lot, but don't hear it mentioned much, probably because it says "Bass" on it.

It sounds like the Black Russian to me, which is what I wanted.
I don't use the bass-specific features so the fixed clean blend doesn't matter much to me.

I picked up a used BMP w/Tone Wicker the other day on ebay. The footswitch was completely dismantled, literally in pieces, and had to be replaced.
It was a pain in the arse, but I got it done and it works great now.

It definitely sounds different than any of the others I have. The Tone Wicker is subtle...adds just a touch more upper mid-range.
