Well it's Super Bowl Sunday, what's everyone drinking? I'm having Finnegans Irish Amber, one of my favorites
Plus all the profits go to local charities! If you're in the Midwest, especially Minnesota, you have got to try this stuff out!

What the hell is Dortmunder style supposed to be? I'm like 100km away from Dortmund and there is no decent brewery in that city. Apart from the fact that the ones they have all brew Pilseners.

Dortmunder Export is one of the sub-styles of beer that is recognized by the BJCP. And yes, it is a type of Pilsner.

Tried the Ruthless Rye, not my thing. Too spice. Too spice. Picked up some Highland Oatmeal Porter on which I'm pretty stoked.

A friend of mine brought two variety packs back with him last October, they make great stuff... especially for the price.
I'm currently sitting on a Southern Tier Gemini, waiting for a nice occasion to drink that one.

Speaking of Bell's, I'm halfway through the last sixer of Hopslam for the year. Grabbed the last pack at the Whole Foods where I work. Gonna miss it, but that's four six-packs this year, and it's probably time to let it go until next year. C

Drank a bunch of it last night. Not sure about the rye. Seems like a hoppy IPA. I liked it.
