This whole talk about the Melvins reminded me of the Helmet-show I want to see.

My alarm actually went off today, but there's really nothing for me to do until 4 tonight. Except, if USPS shipping track is mildly accurate, I'lll have a nice swollen pickle to play with for a few hours as soon as I get my lazy ass out of bed.

Well I've got another one to play with in bed too...

Got out of bed, looked out the 2nd floor window and the mailman was just pulling up. Win. NPD for me Swollen pickle which fits perfectly into my cassette case pedalboard. I've been considering getting my flanger on that board if I can somehow once I've got the boost on. Fuck it, I'll take of the EQ which I don't use anyway and put transfer my flanger. This board was supposed to be fairly simple, but now it's taking on a life of it's own. I'm wondering if I could fit an expression pedal on the opposite side of all the other pedals so it opens up with that set for my Memory Boy. And if I can do that, why the fuck not wah, holy shit, this thing could get nuts. I'm excited guys, very excited...[/high stream-of-consciousness] Don't worry, pics are to come.

Question: How tall would you estimate the average expression pedal is at it's lowest point?

Also, might have potential for a band with a bassist who is kinda just learning, but has good taste in music and will follow my direction well. Bassist knows drummer who has experience playing in a band. Don't want to get ahead of myself, but this could be the band the kinda "sticks." Only problem is distance. Drummer lives like an hour away (nice drive though, winds around Kettle Moraine State Forest). This at least has the potential to be the kind of project I really want to do. And I think I'm more confident as a band leader.

Whatever TL;DR snipppzy is really stoned.

Awwww man, my board organization is coming together quite well considering I'm limited to a small cassette carrying case that can fit 5 max 6 pedals in it. I'm glad I decided to split up my board. Having a board just dedicated to being as noisey/dance-punky as possible is awesome. It's gonna be sooooo bad-ass when it's done.

Phantom Ring > Swollen Pickle > Velcroar > *Boost will go here* >Memory Boy > Tokai TFL-1 Flanger

Hopefully I have just enough room for the boost because if this all works out I might cream myself. I also need to look into better cable options. What are these cable kits or whatever all about anyway?
