This thing looks so cool, I was really disappointed at the price! Even at half that price, I would think it was outrageous! I feel like its something you could build yourself with some basic woodworking skills and drum pedals cleverly ajoined to whatever shakers, tambourine, cowbell, xylophone shizz you want to attach.
If I had $2300 to spend on percussion for my band, I would just buy a nice, actual drumset and pay a guy to play it! The one man band thing is cool and all, but this thing is so expensive that you could literally hire a drummer for less money!
