I saw an ORLP show that was basically the Mars Volta playing through this album (or some of it) live and it was a fantastic show, but so far these recordings aren't grabbing me.

Yeah, I saw some of those on the tube. some amazing stuff. They've always been a better live band though. I remember being really disappointed when I bought de-loused after seeing them destroy everyone in a club for 3 hours.
