one builder board

I will be hated but one maker it's stupid clear who wins: Roland.

I keep my real Space Echo, GR-55 guitar synth from hell, my Boss rackmounts and floor pedals, and have 30 years of decent and wierd stuff to choose from.

In lieu of asking for forgiveness, I would like to note I recently commissioned a custom analog multi-fx unit from a small builder containing a stutter tremolo, analog delay with warp/oscillation momentary switch, and an octave fuzz, along with a switch to set delay position inside the pedal. It was not cheap but was totally worth it.

cept im still jonesin for an all sea themed board, and im just waitin to replace the mind bender wiht the C-Bread Nautiloid or whatever

one could also go for e.g. the Orkin Board (n.b. for those beyond the reach of this Feet Is Murder chain, Orkin is a pest extermination firm) themed around pest animals: Rat, White Spider, Big Spider, Ring Worm...

the Outer Space Board would probably also be pretty easy and have good results, as would as the Necromantic and the Generally Paranormal Boards.

yeah it'd be rad if more folks could have theme boards, cuz i think theres also a sort of underlying idea if you have a bunch of like "space" pedals, they're gonna work well together because all the builders were probably thinking like "this sounds like space. rad!"

also a Robot Board would be cool. so could animals. we should probably do something about that, like a travelling theme board.

I don't think I could limit myself to just one builder, but seeing as more than half of my board is either Dr. Scientist or smallsound/bigsound, I could get by with a two builder board (but I'd sure miss my El Cap).

I've thought about this and Earthquaker or Dr. Scientist cover ALL the bases and make great sounding shit too.
SS/BS and Iron Ether are equally badass but lack variety needed to fill out a board.

i would....... just steal Brian and Taylor, chain them back to back, and have them make SmallEther/BigIron pedals together. SS/BS/DFAS for fuzz, IE for filter and modulation. have them do a joint delay and it'd be GOLDEN Ponyboy.

Apart from my lazy j cruiser my boards all Dr s. Ryans stuffs superb and it just works together really well. just waiting for my cleaness to arrive and then Im done.
