some of my favorite evenings i ever had in my life were spend sitting by the side of the road or parked over by Midway Airport watching the lights, with the windows in the old American sedan from the 60s rolled down enough to let the air in when it was cold, smoking cigarettes and talking with my girl. not fooling around or anything, just talking quietly for hours with my favorite person in the whole wide world with the AM radio playing softly in the background. that was a long time ago, but i still remember as if it were yesterday.

nothing beats good company and truly connecting with someone, that's my idea of a good time
