The fact that it's backstage at a talk show kind of leads me to think it's more of an image thing. Didn't really take a good look though, so I may be wrong.

Exactly. Reminds me of that picture of some metal band on stage at a concert, and they have a huge wall of marshalls. 'Cept... The photo is taken from backstage and they're all cardboard :lol:

Frankly, I've been gigging with a '65 Univox Deluxe Reverb clone that I bought for $200. Great cheap amp!
