Subdecay Prometheus DLX Owners....

Post by Gunner Recall »

So to all you Subdecay Prometheus owners...who's excited about the movie?

...but really, does the DLX cop all the sounds of the original?
Not to get all cork sniffery but I'd hate to sell my OG prometheus only to find the deluxe is a bit different.
There are some that call me...morningstaru?

I still have to contact Mr. Marshall about this but i found my original prometheus has more low end than the new one…
I kept both and have the old one in the rehearsal room at the moment and the new one for home recording and pedal wanking…

Word of mouth is that there is a trim pot for the low end in the DLX but i didnt had the time to check it...

To make this clear i fucking love both versions and its one of the few pedals worth having 2 versions...

Yeah and i cant wait for that movie to come out...

Yep. :thumb:

I've tried it.

Gunner - I haven't noticed much of a drop in the low at all. It really depends on your settings - if you have a drastic filter sweep, it's naturally going to cut lows as it sweeps through those frequencies.

The main difference that I LOVE is the LFO rate is LOCKED to the step rate - So if the step rate changes, there is no need to change anything to keep the same pattern. Make sense? It's REALLY nice.

Interesting to hear about the trimpot, seals the deal for sure.

Thanks for the advice you two, I was hoping one of you would pop in
