The simple answer is yes.

You do have to spec it right or you system won't run as efficiently as it could. It's a little more difficult than it sounds as manufacturers are less than forthcoming with these specs but the ouput impedance of your preamp needs to be enough to drive the input sensitivity of your power amp. That is why often times pedal preamps and DI's don't have enough "headroom" to drive a poweramp. I actually used a Sansamp BDDI Programmable as an interim fix until I could get my rackmount Pre fixed or replaced. It was satisfactory for the moment,...but I essentially had to have all volumes and gain dimed in order to compete volume wise.

I entered into a dialog with TBer Bongomania on the subject 4 years ago so unfortunately I'm very hazy on the actual numbers and that conversation has long since been deleted. It's worth noting that if the specs don't matchup right it's not the end of the world,...your system will still run,....just not as efficiently as it could.

Fucking nice, man. I haven't seen one of those for sale anywhere yet. Everywhere I've seen has them listed as out-of-stock.

Way too much wattage for my usage, but should be pretty sweet.

Nice. Whats in the cab? 12's, 15's, 10s? Are you going to use it for guitar or bass?

Seconded. Inquiring minds and whatnot.

Thanks, all. I swear the GC said yes when I asked "is this a 2x12?" However, it appears to be a 1x12, which is ok. Within two months (yeah Fuzzfarmer, it's coming), it will be paired with a 1972 Model T and an Emperor 4x12.

No, I still am, just on bass. The gear I've been talking about is for me to finally start playing live guitar, something I've wanted to do for a while now.
