That does sound better. If there's any stealthy jank like that in the first one then I haven't encountered it. You just walk through a doorway, hear "GET HIMMMM!" and pew pew pew for a while.

There's still a lot of that too, but there's full on stealth missions in this jawn.

Finished FF XIII-2, pretty fun game though not without flaws. Only 2 playable characters, which is offset somewhat by the pokkemon vibe of the monsters, but getting those rarer spawns was too annoying at times and I'd pass. The time reversal is a nice touch, I've always liked the idea of fighting story driven gimped monsters at full strength after I leveled up a bunch. Biggest complaint is that the main story is just way too short. Made worse by the ending, which I otherwise liked. Spoiler:

Total chaos and everybody dying/chrystifying? FUCK YEAH. But To be continued? When the game can be finished in 30-35 hours on first play through? Fuck that, make the game longer. Better give me the game for free later on.

Gran Turismo 5 fo sho, if you give a crap about cars/racing at all. Saints Row 3 is great for the ultra-violence lulz.

I bought a playstation 3 only for the reason that god of war 3 was going to be coming out on it.

That said, Heavy Rain, God of War are two of the exclusives that you need to have. As far as cross platform games I really recommend Dark Souls, Skyrum and Fallout 3 series for sure.
