Once tried fuzz face into OCD and it was fine, but I don't really care about overdrives.

Hot pickups already spank my fuzz, so I like fuzz into OD more. Boosting my fuzz tends to make it go into synth mode.
Which isn't a bad thing, but I don't want that all the time.

Yes, I meant the "why you're bothering with OD at all" bit.
Those guys go nuts stacking $800 ODs into each other in church.

Nah man, I've raped Aenimas with other pedals and it sounds good, the Fuck doesn't do it the way I want and sounds "better" after. Like I said particular pedals mean particularly different orders. And on top of that, what I want when I boost my aenima is more noise/oscillation/trebles, and boosting it with the fuck gives me more squish and low end.. which may be exactly what someone else is looking for. Pedals are fucking complicated like that and thats why I hate "always A->B" rules.

I don't know... Everyone says run a guitar into a fuzz and then into a dirt box. I tried this with my Hoof into my Wampler black 65 and it sounds like shit. Maybe the pedals don't stack well together, but that arrangement sounds awful. I've tried the other way and it sounds better.. don't really get it.

depends - had a Dirty Little Secret, sounded the best AFTER

had Fulldrive, couldn'T put it after because it then overloaded and sounded bad... murder bad

have a Fuck, personally prefer it before

that means that in majority of cases it just doesn't work for me :idk: had a Jekyll&hyde though, it's basically a Shredmaster into a TS808 (i think) and the TS nicely smoothened out the sound for solos... so really - IT DEPENDS and more on the OD than on your taste i'd say

Depends on the pedals. I love the Arc Flash set low gain like an OD after fuzzes. Just makes it louder and better.

Thats why I wouldnt want hot pickups, so I could have the option of stacking

Yeah. That makes more sense.

I never understood that about them. :idk:

Plus, IMO, a really low gain fuzz sounds way better than an OD. Plus, a low gain fuzz is going to stack way better than your run of the mill OD, just because of the nature of it.

@Officer: I don't remember it being as great after as it was before fuzz when I had one, but now that I'm getting another fuck, I'll be able to see :joy:
@Delta: Really, can't argue there, and the doomidrive didn't even do that much for me. But that combo blew my brains

Yeah, they have their uses but imo it's better to have a low/medium output pickup if you're gonna run it into a bunch of dirt pedlulz.

I get great results running my And Aardvarks after fuzz. :idk: maybe it's something to do with the circuits. Isn't the AA jfet-based? Not that I know what that really means...
