Good morning fellow fuzzers! I need new strings for my Fender Pbass. Any suggestions? I have been using DR's exclusively for years and years. I like them but I am curious if anything new is worth checking out. Specifically I don't like high tension strings much at all! I don't drop tune, basically standard tuning with an occasional drop D. I play in a 3 piece roots rock band. Use lots of effects and LOTS of Fuzz! That's about it. Thanks so much in advance, I was gonna post this on TB but...

Okay looks like I'm getting talked into flats! Now which ones...I have T.I.'s on my fretless, they just don't seem like they would be fat enough for a 3 piece rock outfit?? They sound terrific don't get me wrong, there's just something about them that seems so UNheavy?!

I use D'Addario Chromes [Always have]. They can get heavy [if you have listened to any of my demos then you've heard them ], and they sit well in a trio mix.
Rotosound RS77's...not the warm, flat, probably-Mark-Olsen-approved tone that most flats are known for; I have a year-or-so-old set on my Stiletto and there's still a nice zingy overtone to them.
