I use one as my main amp. And have a few more.

Honestly? I like the Marshall MG head and cab I have. The distortion sucks, but it does a nice, clear clean sound, which is all I want in an amp. I have pedals for my dirt.

The old Fender SS amps are excellent. The Princetons, and all those red knob ones from the '80s and '90s. I still kick myself for selling my Princeton 65.

I just recently played through a roland jc-120, and I was super impressed. So that might have to be my favorite one that I've played.

I HATE my Fender M-80 right now. The reverb has this awful sounding buzz on it, and the thing just sounds super trebley no matter what you do.

A little guitar shop near me has two of those right now. I've been tempted to buy one. How do they sound on bass?

my heathkit ta-16 gets some of the grungiest, garagiest distortion I've ever heard when cranked past 6

TGP Dumble Fag wrote:The sound of this amp reminds me of the sound of your voice when listening through 2 orange juice cans connected by a string... no highs, no lows, louder just hurts more. But I thought it was cool cuz it was big! These amps don't deserve landfill treatment, why waste the space?

1) Sunn Coliseum
2) Traynor TS-50B
3) Acoustic Control Corp. 140, 370, etc.

I have a friend that has an Ampeg V-6B, and that's pretty rad too. But, those are my top 3, as far as personal experience goes.
