jWARious - i like the SansAmp ok. i liked the basic one. the tiny bugger? the eq and tone shaping is cool for a modern'y tone. and that's where i sit. it's just that they have the worst fucking distortions on them and the VT's. blegh.

It probably depends a ton on what you're playing, too. My Eden SS head doesn't get nasty at all....so the BDDI just wasn't enough for me. I could see it being good with a tube amp.

What if I just play my Precision Dlx through an EHX Black Finger into an EHX 2ube and it sounds super awesome what ever I plug that into... Sometimes pedals after that then a mixer or Bassman 400 or Kalamazoo's or into the 2880 looper and back out through pedals or my Sunn mixer with lots of spring reverb... Am I doing bass wrong???

good god the man does good work. and he's SO easy to work with. mad skeelz. i sent him a collage of screen caps from that video (i boner on Chris Cunningham about 1/26th as hard as i do on Bjork, which is saying a LOT), we talked, he did a layout, we talked and he did tweaks that EXACTLY reflected what i wanted changed super quick. he's such a good guy.

So which one of you guys that I've done a trade with semi-recently is from TN? Anyone. Somehow I sold a pedal it landed where it was supposed to go and then continued on to TN. So fucking annoying. I don't have ANY idea why or how that could happen and am not real sure what to do. I guess I should have insured it, but it was a cheap pedal.

Well, had my first practice with what is definitely about to become my next band. Not a whole lot of room for effects (yet!), but some super talented dudes, and I feel like I clicked really well with them. Looks like I've got me a band now. They're committed to weekly rehearsals and everything!
