Favorite solid state amps?
Combo or head, it doesn't matter. My personal favorite is the Roland Jazz Chorus, love that amp to bits. What's your favorite?

Lab Series L11. Best solid state amp I've owned/played. Got a great dark clean tone, pedals sound great with it and the overdrive is something I never use, but sounds cool. The inbuilt fan is loud as shit but you only notice it when you're not playing. Wouldn't mind trying out an Ampeg VH140c though. For teh brutalz.
The bassist in one of my bands plays through a Peavey Centurion which sounds awesome as well.

I'm loving my Eden Nemesis 700W head. Thing just rocks. Tons of clarity and mids.
Every now and then, I'll not have played in a while....and I'll start to get these ideas of upgrading to something with some tube in it....or just upgrading to a more expensive Eden head.....then I play it, again, and I'm like "nope. I'm cool."

I've got an old Acoustic 230 head that's pretty good.
And Trace Elliot GP7. Never really played with tube bass amps.

And this is my old back-breaking bass rig
