The price is definitely scary as fuck to me too. 400 bucks for a phaser! It is a fucking awesome phaser though! The only thing I'd want to add to this sucker is expression control. That would make it near perfect.

One of the rare occasions that being in the EU isn't a bad thing gear wise. You could always ask Rick to add expression control, the SDR is simple enough that he can build these in his sleep.
