I'm digging it so far. Right now I have it at the end (before the 'verb) boosting some lows but I'm going to try it at the front too.

Trying to see if I can break the Forum.

Image

Bass->LS-2 (A<->B)>TU-2->Amp

  • Loop A (Main Loop with Feedback Loop): FEALabs OptiFET>OC-2>Supercollider>Shiva>Utter Stutter (Feedback Loop)

  • Feedback Loop: 105B Bass MuRF>Wolf Computer>Wrong Side of Uranus

  • Loop B (Delay Loop): CA Ring Mod>Drasp Modded DL-4
This is the evolution of my previous board (prior to forum breakdown shown below):

Image

I discovered that I truly didn't not like Compression after Fuzz,...but didn't want compression before Envelope filter,...but in the end,...My use of Envelope Filter and the Multiwave for that matter was really not worth having them eat up space on my board.

That solved the Compression placement issue and I'm very happy to have it first on my main loop. I was trying the tap dance with the compression at the end of the chain but Compy->Fuzz is actually quite nice.

I've had the LS-2 in the past but was always turned off by trying to figure it out but I found the perfect use in this instance. The nice thing about running loops like this is being able to set tap tempos on the DL-4 and the MuRF and be more confident before swapping loops (an Idea that Tber Scotch pointed out a long time ago).

I've always had a gripe with delay trails getting buried in the mix and since the LS-2 has volume controls for each loop I feel like I have more control over the level of those delays. Not to mention being able to tame the feedback loop.

I've also been running into issues with my tone coming up a little too muddy and just not very pleasing,...so having a buffer at the beginning and the end of my chain seems to be giving me a much crisper and open tone.

The LS-2 is one of my favorite pedals.

Everything is powered off a PPII+ or the courtesy outs from the TU-2 and LS-2 (Moog off the Courtesy AC Outlet on the PPII+)

Can't help but notice how quiet my rig is as well as how musical and expressive it is now. I'm very excited about this board.

*looks down*

well HELLO there. and that's saying something. i'm on so much vicodin right now. usually can't even get hard like that. it's like a taffy pull if i try to beat one out under the influence. like braiding with wet yarn and rope. like beating off Superman.

......... 'cause...... he can't even feel it. not that i WANT to beat off Superman. Batman..... i'd let Classic Batman do so many horrible things to me. but i HATE Superman.

and fuck Power GrrL's new costume. that shit is OFFENSIVE.

Third time's a charm. My purty picture got lost the last two times. But it's different now...even more compact and 20% more spamful.

Because I promised Behnderz: I got his PT-1 and Supa Charger this weekend, and got everything all put together for now. Gonna get rid of the FX25B and the SYB3 and get me a looper of some sort, probably a Headrush.
