Bare bones amp Cabs?

Post by peps1 »

Anyone know any companies, people in the UK who build cabs?

Looking for a little 1x8 to 10cab (or 1x12 at a push), just to build a amp into, for a handy under the bench test/audio probe amp.

But buggered if I can find any empty cabs here in the UK that are not 2x12 and up! :(

Some one here in the UK must be knocking out something like narrow panel Tweed Champ style cabinet!?!?!? :idk:

Why not buy a practice amp? Those little ones that come with beginner guitars. Would prob be cheaper and you could just gut the electronics if you really wanted to build the amp.

Totally see your point, but buying something just to brake down seems a little counter productive IF there is an alternative. (same with some of the lovely vintage radios that would make stunning wooden cabs, just cant bring myself to brake down a working bit of kit without check other options)
