Speaking of new layouts, I always got annoyed whenever people would bitch about facebook having a different layout or any little slight change. Now, they've done this Timeline thing and I absolutely hate it. It's exactly the same as what it was before only every single thing has been blown up 10x bigger so you end up having to scroll through all sorts of nonsense on a person's page and their actual information, etc. isn't even anywhere. It's all what they've done (none of which is of any particular significance) and no longer who they are.

there was a good article in the times about facebook's new timeline and the implications of, but the general consensus was very different than what you're saying.

“What does it mean to not be able to reinvent yourself after high school, after college?” she said. “Or will people completely go back and edit their histories? And how will that shape the way we view ourselves and our friends?”

there was also another article that had a good line but the article was kinda dum

It’S this idea that the individual experience is somehow inferior to the collective that underpins Facebook’s recent embrace of “frictionless sharing,” the idea that, from now on, we have to worry only about things we don’t want to share; everything else will be shared automatically.

The article those quotes all demonstrate what I think is flawed about most people's perceptions about the Internet in general. This one sums it up perfectly:
the first article wrote:“There’s no act too small to record on your permanent record,” said Jonathan Zittrain, a law professor at Harvard who studies how the Internet affects society. “All of the mouse droppings that appear as we migrate around the Web will be saved.”

Everyone is concerned with the things they don't want other people to see. What's far more overwhelming is the amount of information this presents that other people really don't give a fuck about. Now we just have to wade through the shit.

If Facebook reads my posts and find out that I like a certain band, so suddenly ads for concert tickets for that band show up on the side of my screen, that's awesome. That's convenient. It amazes me that people are actually paranoid about this kind of crap. 99% percent of our lives are so incredibly mundane and useless. I should be able to highlight what's important and what I want to be seen, make it readily available, and have it all organized in a concise, easy-to-digest format that doesn't look like a picture book that was designed on acid (seriously, the cover photos, what the fuck is that?).

When I think about it, the Timeline is a cool idea, BUT it shouldn't be the primary interface. It should be another feature. Organizing everything chronologically just doesn't make sense and isn't friendly to the person creating the profile and the person reading it.

Is this an odd progression for a mixtape?

3. [Let’s Start a] Riot - Three Days’ Grace - 3:27
4. Losing My Religion - R.E.M. - 4:28
5. What About Us? - Ministry - 5:52

I don't know the songs, but given the bands, it might work better to swap the REM with the Three Days Grace song, for flow.

Anyone know where can I find better quality? Also, these specific youtube videos take forever to load....

What is your best breakfast sandwich recipe?

Some of my favourites:

Two eggs fried over easy on toasted multigrain bread with applewood smoked bacon, cheese, tomatoes, red onion, frisee and a dijon mustard aioli.

OR

The same thing except replace "red onion, frisee and a dijon mustard aioli" with grilled green peppers, and mushrooms, with extra cheese.

Also, occasionally subbing in hot sauce.
