THE BURIED LIFE HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Fuck yeah. great album. As is "Shot Forth Self Living". The funny thing is, I'm perfectly willing to admit that I first learned of Medicine in The Crow (I was 14, oh well), Time Baby just kicked so much fucking ass that I looked into them, and holy shit, those two albums just killed me. And I really didn't listen to Loveless until a couple years later, and I said "this is really good, but I don't see why this is better than either of the Medicine albums"

Yeah! My friend Caleb and I had the exact same experience, thought I was still more obsessed with "Big Empty". But yeah, didn't hear "Loveless" until college (2000 or so), and whilst I did like it, I was slightly more into Medicine. Plus, Medicine was "mine".

So you have to be, what, 31? I was born in '81.

Indeed!

I have been listening to "In Ribbons" and "Souvlaki" a bunch lately, but nowhere near as much as this:

It's a little young for the title, but good god damn it's so so so great.

^ That's cool.

Except for everything that has been already said, The Brian Jonestown Massacre album "Methodrone" is my favourite, after "Shoot forth self living" and MBV shit.

Can't wait to pick up Ringo Deathstarr "Colortrip" LP.

I need to get me some Ringo Deathstarr stuff. Saw them opening for the Smashing Pumpkins on the UK tour last year, was really impressed with them.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey... stuff.

Now if only it was still in print on cd and not being sold for an outrageously overpriced amount on said format. :(

Although it's already been mentioned heaps I gotta say Souvlaki!

A Sunny Day in Glasgow - Ashes grammar /and Nitetime Rainbows EP.
