The Hoof is the only Muff-type pedal I've ever had any use for, is more like it! And it kind of boggles my mind because, prior to purchasing The Hoof, I had pretty much decided to never again fool around with Muffs and their many variants. But The Hoof does soooo much more than the BM that it ain't even funny! I have no idea how EQD derived so much usefulness out of that basic design, but I'm sure glad they did. And glad that I took a chance on buying one, too. It's the pedal for people who want more than just another plain old Muff.

I agree. I've had a love/hate relationship with the Muff circuit for years.I've owned a couple different versions and have built pretty much every version for myself and always ended not really digging them. They do what they do well, but that's all they do.
The Hoof is an exception though. It's got a great feel to it and I can dial in way more usable tones.
