The internal power brick creates its own isolated and filtered power for the circuit so Faye Sings are perfectly happy daisy chaining off a high current switching supply without introducing any noise or other issues.

SpaceFlunky wrote:had the same issue when plugging it into the PP2. I switched to DIP switch to run at 12V and the sound came back, tho its not as pronounced as i think it should be.

I was thinking of getting a Cioks power supply to replace my PP2. Looks like im gonna do that soon.

PP2+ 12V setting actually drops the current to 60mA, way short for the FS. As for 9V, both 100mA and 250mA weren't consistent either. High current wall warts were fine tho.

CIOKS if your looking to buy an isolated multi-supply ever again, shames the PP2+ in high voltage/current options. The new VL stuff offers high current but fewer isolated/unbridged outs, lame.

Hooked my Boss adapter up and used an expression pedal. It's working great now. So weird. I am really digging it with fuzz. Sounds amazing!

hurm. if you're running it on the high mA output at 12v what does it drop it to? i think that's what mine's is plugged into (until my Cioks gets here) and it's been working a charm.

When you use outputs 5 or 6 with dip switch on it switches to unregulated power. Voltage is listed as 12V to 14.5V and current as 50 to 200+mA. Power fluctuates in this scenario based on what the pedal is drawing.

what adapter did ya end up buying? I think im gonna just get that and plug it into the courtesy outlet on the PP2 until i get enough scratch for a Cioks power supply.
