haha yeah it's HUGE. Sort of feels like it's oversized or something just all around. I'm a big dude and I played double bass for years so most basses feel tiny to me but that thing is just silly.

Also the sunn's getting replaced with my ampeg v4b when I finally get that fixed. Or my acoustic 120 if I can pull it apart and give it a clean. FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS.

I just moved to Portland, so I am in the beginning stages of a new band. Just a drummer and I so far. We don't even have a name yet. So far it has been a mixture of Doom and Black Metal. Still developing a sound though, so it could go in any direction at this point.

Hey I just moved to Portland too and I'm looking for a band. Ayyyyyyyyeeeeee

new band, this is my setup.

It's an axiom bolt on ric copy. Really good copy, like double truss rods, stereo output, the whole magilla. Weighs more than twice a ric bass because to accomodate the neck bolts it's twice as thick. Has a huge bottom end thump to it and man it's killing my back. Also it's microphonic as all hell and the neck's a bit bowed, but yeah...I love it. Serious caveman, wear low, hit with club bass.

THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY

Thanks.
I am making a matching guitar. It will have a single humbucker (very used) at the bridge and an simple harness with .023 cap and 500k pots. This one will cost me about $40 because I can' t scrounge any decent tuning machines...
I love making derelict instruments sound good...
