Re: What is your drone / Noise setup like?
I haven't put together a board since the last time I played live, but it looked a little like this:

Contact mic-> Black Big Muff -> Noise Swash -> DOD Death Metal -> DOD DFX9 (added external pots for repeats and delay time)-> Malekko 616-> Meatbox
More recently:

Music From Outerspace WSG (with a few mods, built it a few months ago) -> EB Volume Pedal -> Noise Swash -> DeltaLab DD1 -> Echo 616 -> DOD DFX9 -> Meatbox

for noise, its usually a contact mic'd piece of metal or a shaker box attached to something i can smash and hit plugged into fuzz and/or distortion.
usually have one or two noise synths or samples playing in the background of that.
ive tried drone, but im not a big fan of making it. for me, it doesnt feel as involved or physically satisfying for me. i need to hit shit i guess.

No pictures, but if I remember rightly it was Whammy>Blue Box> Supercollider>DOD Flanger (Stereo out) A)Bassballs B)TR-2.
I could never get my Whammy's dry out to properly do stereo, but I always wanted to run the SC and the Blue Box parallel, with the SC being effected and the Blue Box being the Blue Box (blend set to like 9:00).

That's awesome!I use the same board for everything!

I think the key components for me are:
-Crazy Delay
-Feedback Loops
-Fuzz (obviously!)
-Starve Knobs

and
-Oscillation
Then I just sprinkle in other things and tweak knobs as I see fit!

Re: What is your drone / Noise setup like?
Fuzz Factory running into a Peavey mixer with built-in reverb mixed in. I add in different guitar pedals as I see fit, usually a Boss MT-2, Ibanez PH-5, Swollen Pickle and one of my delays (my DOD is glitchier than my Nova Repeater, but I don't have a power supply for it).
I can also run a drum track out from my computer, into the mixer and then back so I have a dry drum track, and one with guitar effects layered over it.

Usually like this: Contact Mic > Robot Devil > TGD > Memory Boy > Blue Box > Various Fuzzes and Metal Distortions
Only constant pedals are my 2 Dwarfcraft pedals and Memory Boy.
For drone I usually use my Buddha Box or Alesis Micron and run it into my Memory Boy and some fuzzes.

Re: What is your drone / Noise setup like?
I have 2 noise posibilities I use..
Chain goes:
Marshall Vibratrem used as feedback loop with in the loop BOSS OC-2, EHX Bass Micro Synthesizer, Homebrew Electronics Hematoma Bass Overdrive, Bazz Fuss, DOD Stereo Bass Flanger, Boss RV-3, Boss PS-2, in that order..
And sometimes I use my PS-2 as an oscillator, cause the tuner out is actually a tonegenerator.. That into the rest of the board is a pretty heavy synth..

2525 as an oscillator->Blowing Up (for crippling volume)->Pitch Pirate->M9
Things come in and out of this, but I could get away with just this.

Re: What is your drone / Noise setup like?
My standard noise/experimental/wierd setup is a little excessive, but I could get worse if I dragged the other couple dozen units out.
The "simplified" regular use rig, where I have to hit turbine to power, engine to speed, tape echo to power and tubes to speed, push the plugs into the battery powered fuzz setup, and call it good.
Pre-guitar synth it was worse.

Re: What is your drone / Noise setup like?
for me, i primarily use feedback loops to generate my noise... and i use as much od/fuzz as i can to generate tones that i can manipulate...
one of the fuzzes i use is a strictly white-noise based fuzz... so i can get quite a few loverly things...
i like using modulation and filters in loops because they tend to fall behind on the knob-turning, making for some really cool sweeps of sound.
LOOPCEPTION is also fun

channel 1: trogotronic 666>bluebeard or a rat>dod fx90>mxr phase 100
channel 2: phase 90>malekko ekko 616>malekko ekko 616 lofi>dod meatbox
probably gonna take out the phase 100 and get a holy grail.

it changes slightly for every show but this was the last one:

and this was the one before that:

which is being used in this video here:

I limit myself to whatever can fit in the box so I can just show up with one thing, plug into the PA and be ready to go. Getting to the point where I wanna be able to slim it down even more to a couple pedals so I can ride my bike to shows hah.
