My coworkers was talking about some guy who came into the bar last night and was drinking rumpelmintz and mountain dew.

I suggested we call it a Mountain Don't.

Today I learned that, not only is Post-Disco a genre, but it is a genre I wish to be a part of; I have devoted what remains of my life to Earth Wind and Fire covers.

When I was younger, i dismissed countless lyrics because they were "too emo"

Fuck that. There's no such thing. Write what you feel, feel what you write. Don't try to change your creativity to meet others' twisted expectations of what you should be.

With that, i present a few lines from a song i'm working on

Some days
Some days i'd like to end it all
Some days the water seems to fall
From the sky in endless agony

I don't think that's Emo, I think that's Goth.

Yeah, not to get depressionjuice all over the place, ut i just feel so fucking numb lately, like i'm feeling the world through a thick blanket that i can't seem to shrug off. It's not so much sadness as it is...emptiness. I just wish i could channel it into somehting productive. :<

that would be in serious danger of becoming the new desktop background on my laptop if i hadn't already used the LOLcat with the replicant quote from Blade Runner.

Well thanks for giving me something to do all afternoon.

Dance-punk is the fucking shiznit. I would love to revive that.
