I decided to simplify my pedalboard a little bit. Realized that my noise gate wasn't doing anything I couldn't do with my volume pedal. Kind of fell out of love with my LPB-1.

Not quite as loud as I was expecting, but I love the way it sounds. Gives my Pickle lots of extra boom and yes, it's great for all kinds of Fuzz Factory fuckery.

Celmo Sardine Compressor.

SPOILER : show
It's one of 2-3 pedals that reminded me of a song the moment I engaged it and started to rock out to Gone Crazy - Marcy Playground but it has that sweet roundy-thingything about it. Rounded. Well rounded. Like Oprah. It kind of does the Diamond thing really well but can sound cheesy/awesome but maybe country players (with sloppy technique) might not like it. The Rectifier, unfortunately, cannot be run independently despite thinking it could and it's hooked up to the compressor circuit. It kinda of does funny stuff and adds some dirt/grit/grime and has a 3-way toggle for the rectifier but no knobs/trimpots as far as I'm aware (not necessarily a bad thing). It's 12vDC which I didn't know == WINNNN 'cos 12v ROOLZ and means I have bigger balls when I use it. Just like when I use 13s instead of 11s even though I play like arse with 13s).

:!!!:

So after playing with it for awhile what are your thoughts on the Celmo?
