Has anyone done any RPM challenges for previous years? If you aren't familiar with it, you basically have the month of February to write and record "an album's worth of music/noise." 10 songs or 35 minutes of original music. I had a blast with it last year, though I lamed-out and didn't actually send in my CD. I gave it to all my friends though.

I've been writing beats for the last few months and I want to get some use from them, so I'm taking a shot at some rap. Time to whore some clips. I have a bunch that I did on my DS over the summer (a lot more of that weird 8-bit sound), but I don't have any of them on my PC right now that don't sound weird (broken cable when I recorded them, so only one ear).

I find that RPM is a great way to try new things in your music. Last year, my restriction was that I could not ever play in 4/4, 3/4, or any variants thereof.
