So much fun stuff on that album. Trem arm and wah fuckery all at once. :!!!:

SWERVIES UNITE!!! Best Live Band I've Ever Seen... On mescaline you could see the notes coming outta the amps in different colors and when Adam would hit the wah it was like a Rainbow Waterfall all the way across the club... :!!!:

Sovtek Muff with the fuzz and volume full up and the tone around 12 into digital delay set to almost feedback into headrush set to long tape style delay on the verge of feedback into a a reverb cranked to a lush hall sound...I've never tried to take that onstage though.

I believe Adam from Swervedriver used a HM-2 (and the stereo rig probably helped) at least towards the end I know on recent tours he used two blues drivers and an RV-2, Vox Wah, and his broken Small Stone (or clone?) for the weird space ship sound he gets. had a Tremelo Pan as well methinks.

M9 with an expression pedal along with a fuzz before it and an OD after it is what I like to use.

New favorite for Doomgazing:

Drop B Strat, Devi Ever 33 stacked into Way Huge Swollen Pickle (compression rolled off, scoop at 2 o'clock), Nova Repeater in Analog Mode w/Chorus on, set for a really long delay time.

Yep, that would be my guess. Swirlies are mega loud.

I didn't wanna post in this thread, but I will.

Here's my signal chain for teh 'gaze:

The Goose > flanger > delay > fuzz > phaser > flanger > fuzz > flanger > vibrato > delay > Klon Centaur overdrive.

I wouldn't play teh 'gaze through anything less.

Why, thank ya, Cap'n.

That's actually a vintage modified Robin Guthrie/Cocteau Twins signal chain.

Guthrie mostly played clean, but I've taken the liberty of adding fuzz to his recipe.

BAMN!!! U GOT 'GAZE?

You do say "mostly," but I do happen to be quite fond of a few of his non-mostly moments. This track was how I discovered CT, and a big formative influence on me:
