Maestro PS-1 troubles

Post by GiAnt_ROboT »

Hey guys I have this Maestro phase shifter I'm lookin to get working and I figured it would be best to consult you guys before I go poking around in there. Heres my problem. At some point the medium and fast switches stopped working. The slow setting works fine but the other two are no go yo. Does anyone have any experience with these? Any ideas?

First port of call would be to test the switches for continuity (look up the procedure on google) to check if they're broken, i'd guess they just got old and are.

You might have luck with some kind of contact spray as a temporaryish measure, otherwise you'll have to find replacements if it turns out it is just the switches.

After that i'd have to look at the schematic.

you just jumper the contacts the switches would connect to. if it works, then its the switch. I would love to work on this thing if you can't get it sorted. its not about the money. I just always wanted to try the maestor PS-1 or PS-1A
