Dis. I mainly just use the spring reverb on my amp (Silverface SR), and although I love my weird and crazy analog/digital reverse delay craziness, I don't really ever find myself dabbling too much with reverbs, which is why I got rid of my DD-6 and RV-7 and got this bad boy. The delays sound better than you would assume, the reverbs are very decent, especially the hall and church modes, and you can save four presets of any combination of delay and reverb. Each effect has it's own level control, with 11 reverbs and 9 delays plus a 15 second looper with stereo ins/outs? I definitely couldn't pass it up
I got the Ghost Disaster of Ancient the other day. Seems like it's based of the same brick as the BYOC verb but sounds 10x better. Really awesome verb. Sheeeat.

Flange makes me nauseous, and I've never had any luck with multiple delays. Thinking a 'verb in front of my fuzz and then amp 'verb too should get me in the ballpark. we'll see, though!

Two words: slow flange
I'm still waiting for someone to come out with a flanger that has a sweep as slow as the one on the Whetstone. (Ahem, Blackout Effectors?)
You can do the multi 'verb thing, but I prefer the mutli delay thing. Pretty much accomplishes the same thing and I think delays sound better.

I'm a big fan of forgoing reverb for the 'gaze in favor of multiple delays and/or flangers. Just sayin'.
Why not multiple delay and reverb? I go verb>dirt>modulation>delays>moar verb. Chicks dig it.
And the RRR is totes hawt. Dem plates.
I generally don't like artificial reverb (particularly digital reverb) unless I'm playing surf music. In which case I'd opt for a Fender spring reverb. Multiple delays pretty much do the same thing and I think it sounds better. If multiple delay and reverb works for you, hey, OK. You play it your way, I'll play it mine.
As of yesterday that was: fuzz > delay > fuzz > phaser > flanger > fuzz > flanger > vibrato > delay . I think chicks dig that harder.

I just don't want to get too crazy because I only want to sort of experiment with the gayze. And I have been playing some surf-y stuff lately! It's hard to pick up a Jazzmaster and not play a little Ventures.
i used to be all about spring amplifier reverb, specifically Fender amplifier reverb. when i got away from Fender amps i found the reverbs to be sub-optimal, so i use outboard pedals for most of my verb now...sometimes i put the reverb on the Laney on 2 or 3. i have a Ghost Echo at the end of the pedalboard that is always on for the ambient plate-y thing i adore. i also have an RV-3 on the main board that gets used a fair bit for short-ish delays and/or the 1988 reverb sounds it does so prototypically well. and then there's the Kevin Shields rack array i only use when i get the whole arsenal out, with the Yamaha and Alesis reverb units. i've been known to have four reverb algorithms going simultaneously at times. two plates in a six hundred seat hall with early reflections? you betcha. let me just roll off the Room Size parameter here...
