I think the two power outages this month fucked up my power bill. Usually, we run between $40 and $70. Our bill is $177, going a little over 3 THOUSAND KILOWATT HOURS from our usual bill.

Not mine. I'm going to have to spend tomorrow down at the stupid power department figuring out why the hell my bill is so expensive. *facepalm*

I'm afraid that I might have inherited my parents' incompetence.

I deliberately forgot to get my tuition deposit in last week, so now my class registration is all sorts of fucked up.
Why do I always choose to lock up and not do things that I know I need to?

I do this all the time. There are literally no benefits to it, except that you temporarily escape being bothered by something. It becomes a bigger something though.

I've had a hard time with that too. My councilor said to just start looking at it with foresight.
Like, when I'm putting something off, say, "Should I be doing this now? If I don't do it now, how will I feel? What are the repercussions of not doing it?" After that, it usually just makes sense to do it.

So angry. Wrote a program at work. Working on a different version of essentially the same program - pretty much copied all the code. Doesn't work.
Wtf. It's the same code.

make sure your employer doesn't find out that it was written at work or he owns it. at least that's how the law works in Australia. it's got to do with the terms of your employment. pretty frustrating, hey?
also, that sucks.

grrgrggggh!
I've made friends with these two fantastic women who are extremely close friends with each other, and I've developed feelings for the one. Do I:
1: pursue a relationship (keeping in mind that this is Utah and no relationship can be, shall we say, fully realized without marriage (the person's religion, and religious devotion rarely make a difference here))
2: find someone else (also this is Utah, i.e. all women here are usually either insane or mormon (not mutually exclusive and equally unseemly))
3: hold out till my ass is out of Utah (not sure how realistic this is, because I've never had a problem like this before so I don't know how to deal with it and I feel like I'm going to explode)?
If I start something up I'll eventually become frustrated due to the knowledge that this relationship would have a pre-built, non-negotiable barrier. If the relationship goes bad, any future friendship would likely be tainted, and if it goes bad enough I'll lose two friends. And around here, people who'll hang out with an atheist are rare, I could have as few as two real-world friends left if things went bad enough. Also, I'm not sure how I could possibly spend more time with her unless the both of us either gave up sleeping or our respective jobs.
AND, I'M ASKING PEOPLE WHO ARE MOSTLY STRANGERS FOR ADVICE BECAUSE I RELATE MORE TO YOU THAN TO ANYONE I'VE MET IN REAL LIFE.
