I'm pretty sure this delay does not self-oscillate,
HOWEVER,
does anyone know if, when the feedback is turned up high enough, you can adjust the time control and still get SOME pitch-shifty goodness?
trying to score a REALLY cheap delay for my feedback loop.

Usually just changing a resistor value will set you up for oscillation.
I've used the Dano Echo (purple lavender looking one?) and you can get some cool stuff tweaking the speed knob while it's still repeating. it's kinda like an older digital delay but doesn't last long.
Not sure about the Fab series

Re: Question RE: Dano FAB Delay
i wondered about the fab series... because i know it's digital... i don't want self-oscillations... but if i can get a few short ones, it wouldn't be bad... i'm just changing the speed during a feedback loop... so i'm not looking for anything i will miss if i fry it
