You can do it! I believe in you.

If I weren't sick as fuck of assignments like that, I'd probably be done with my undergrad by now and halfway through law school. I could have had my J.D. at 23 if I weren't such a late-stage fuck up.

thanks man! would help if i weren't lurking ILF, but you gotta do what you gotta do! meh, i'm about 25 and i still haven't finished my JD. it doesn't matter how old you are, just how long you've been owning noobs.

what makes it worse is that this is summer school (i'm from australia) and i have been studying constantly without more than 2 weeks break since march 2011, and will not get a break until i finish at the end of 2012. fucking nonsense. they put all the cool classes over summer.

fuckers.

fucking fuckers.

I'm facing a similar dilemma, I'm trying to cram three years of math courses into one so I can have all my pre-reqs for masters school. And I feel like my brain is being gang-raped by everything in math.

Don't worry man. I've got the answer for your paper. Just make a big playlist of the Rocky theme-songs and you'll be done in no-time. Here, I'll get you started:

Not to creep on you but what school are you at ?

was doing the JD at melbourne university, but got a full time job as a paralegal so transferred after a semester to the RMIT JD as the classes are in the evening, thus putting me in full time study and full time employment.

and don't you worry about creeping on me, i've got a cape that says 'creep' on it and it's made out of a red satin pillowcase i found on the side of the road. let's see who's the creepier one! :thumb:

i wanted to recommend cigarettes, but didn't know if that's your game....

i recommend Sunn O))) and Earth, or something like Atrium Carceri... perfect deep atmosphere without being to busy to distract you from working... works for me when i'm writing articles and assignments

wow, atrium carceri is pretty intense, i do like it though. i don't listen to black metal too often but i thought it would go well with black coffee and cigarettes, and 'hex; or printing in the infernal method' is going down pretty well right now. 700 words. eat shit and die, assignment.

maz91379 wrote:How have you found rmit vs melb uni ? I'm finishing my bachelors at deakin ,in a completely different direction , but contemplating switching for post grad at melb or monash although deakin is a bit closer to home wondering if i wouldn't get more out of studying closer in the city especially if i'm working part time.

i have really enjoyed both, but they're really very different. history plays a large part, melbourne university is 'very prestigious' and pretty old school while RMIT is the 'working mans' uni and their approach to learning and classes, i find, is much better for law because it's problem based with continual assessment, which in my opnion trumps 100% exams that plague nearly all post-grad courses at melbourne uni.

i work in the city on collins street, and it's only a 15 minute walk from work to uni, that's definitely a plus! i would suggest studying closer to the city if that's where the work is for your particular course or a future course, and also because there's a big social scene when you're in the city 5 minutes away from 100 bars :) i live reasonably close to deakin, and i catch the train in every day and you get used to the travel time, it's not that bad. saving money on petrol is rad too!

My heat is refusing to kick in. So my room feels like it's 40 degrees, because it's worse in there than ANY OTHER ROOM IN THE HOUSE. I just had to turn the heat up to almost 80 to get it to start in the living room.

I'm SO DAMN COLD.

I don't really get the situation, but this really is never a good tactic for anything. In my experience, the best thing is to just move on. If he tries to come back to you, then you can lay into him. Don't just approach someone for the sake of telling them how horrible of a person they are. It makes you look like the the strange one, even if you ARE 100% in the right.

you're so right. i would totally never do that unless he started it somehow. even then, i'm not really into the whole concept of like revenge or whatever so there would be absolutely nothing to be gained from that except for a few seconds of extremely mild catharsis followed by INFINITE REGRET

word. dude sounds like a piece of shit, but i try to ask myself three questions before i open my mouth
1. does it need to be said?
2. does it need to be said by me?
3. does it need to be said by me right now?

ususally, i completely ignore these and end up looking like a jag off.
So this turned into another devi thread...
