It seems you can never have enough delays...

Post by Wes Mantooth »

Got to borrow Haki's DMB Lunar Echo for a bit so figured I'd hook it up with more other delays, turn on some feedback and fuzz and see what happened :animal:

After messing around with knobs for a minute or so, I got this:
[soundcloud]http://soundcloud.com/eelfistnoise/robot-seizure[/soundcloud]

Pedals Used:
-Full Custom Barnacle Fuzz
-Dwarfcraft Eau Claire Thunder
-Dwarfcraft Robot Devil
-Frequency Central Atomic Clock
-Mid-Fi Deluxe Pitch Pirate
-DMB Lunar Echo

Had the Barnacle going full tilt into the voltage starved Devil going into the ECT with feedback engaged. All three delays were running with the LFO speed very fast with depth maxed out on each of it. I thought it sounded pretty cool :idk:

Best ever combination of Fuzz + Delay is, in my book, the Fuzzed-outro to SSPU's "Common Reactor"

That does sound really good. I just love making quirky sounds with multiple delays :!!!:

Brian loves those DD3s.

I like how the little blips toward the end sound like the ghosts in Super Mario World

It's really a neat pedal, especially the warped mode. I still prefer the Atomic Clock but it definitely brings some unique things to the table.

I'll have a full review up this weekend I hope!

:thumb: Spacing out with delays is the best.

You know you need this, if you have the money, PGS has them in stock, if you don't have the money, get on the wait list.

I'm up to 10, have another one on the way, I have problems.

And I'm half considering a second Space Echo to have dueling stereo oscilation wars.

I think I'm up to 6 or 7 delays now. I've been putting them all in a chain and seeing how long I can go without playing another note. Two DD7's on 8 second repeat out of the 'B' output yields some awesome results
