best place to look for a used jaguar or a jazzmaster

so i gave up looking for a guitar that fits under my budget.
i decided to just spend more than i'm willing to to get a guitar i won't regret buying.

it's just really hard to find a used jaguar or jazzmaster for a reasonable price.
my local guitar shop has one except it's an original one and costs 5grand...
and i don't wanna buy it from guitar center because i hate the employees there...

i know a lot of people here has jaguars or jazzmasters.
where do you guys get them?

Guitarfetish have a Xaviere Jazzmaster coming out this summer. It would be cheaper than a second hand, it might not be of the same quality but they are very good for the price. For $200 or less for a near MIM quality instrument you can't go wrong.

For higher quality, maybe try an Agile or other more expensive copy. I just can't advocate buying an actual Fender these days, it seems pointless to me.

Mine just popped up at a store near me a year or two ago, $600. :omg:

I don't think that would be of much help, try craigslist or kijiji.

I got an american jazzmaster reissue with upgraded pickups (novaks) on ebay last year for ~$1200. it was a 2005 and considering the price of new AVRI jazzmasters, I'd say it was a good deal. Ebay can be a pain in the ass, but I'd keep trolling it...something good pops up every now and again. :idk:

Me too! They have a bunch of new stuf coming over and after summer.

Either going for a Jazzmaster or semi-hollow P90 Les Paul.
